For someone who’s keenly interested in personal productivity, I have a ton of half finished personal projects, house projects, ideas, etc. They have started to creep into my psyche. Now, using the GTD system, at least they are all tracked. Too bad they’ve all been on a quasi “someday-maybe” list. Looking at all the “unfulfilled commitments” at once… Continue reading Summer 2010 is going to be about finishing

Just Execute!
Back when I was a kid, I had a disdain for anyone who would criticize athletes, coaches, and leaders. My underlying feeling was, “if you can do it better, then why don’t you go do it yourself.” That kind of wore off, especially the view towards professional athletes. But a bit of it remains in… Continue reading Just Execute!
Visualizing a Trillion Smackaroos
I’m a very visual person. Show me charts and graphs all day long. I was taken aback when I saw this: Visualizing a Trillion: Just How Big That Number Is? Think about that when you hear “trillion” thrown around so casually by our government.
Is it possible to be too good at Wii Sports Boxing?
Perhaps. They ran out of room on the chart! I float like a butterfly, and sting like a bee! When my wife saw me taking a picture of the screen, she let me know that I’m a loser. So I know this already.
Thoughts on Producing and Marketing Complex Products
Lately I’ve been perusing message boards and blogs on the G1 phone. There is a tremendous debate among users as to their satisfaction levels. This, along with my own dissatisfaction with Microsoft Vista, led me to do some thinking. Intolerance
I’m not naive. I know there would be a similar reaction to an Obama parade through a conservative area (although they are likely not as populated as NYC). But what I don’t understand is the hatred displayed by people who say they embrace “tolerance.” I guess tolerance only applies to what you agree with.
Political/Intellectual Arrogance – Defense of the Average American
I’m tired of political commentators who depict the voting public (except their own circle) of being stupid. Both sides do it and it makes me sick. Listen, Barbara Streisand isn’t brainwashing young dumb impressionable voters to vote liberal. Also, conservatives aren’t dumb war mongering racists who don’t want a Muslim (yeah I know, I know)… Continue reading Political/Intellectual Arrogance – Defense of the Average American
HSBC is DEAD to me
First off, let me start by saying that early on in the blog I wanted to post a lot more about likes and dislikes. I wanted to really harp on terrible customer interactions with companies and flesh it out into kind of a business lesson. But then I started to see every blogger doing this… Continue reading HSBC is DEAD to me
Is this soon enough?
Wow, well over 2 years ago I set up this blog in hopes to get it up and running one day. Well better late than never I guess. I’m going to blog about my interests, my career, and random thoughts. My interests. Sports. Mostly football and baseball. I’ve been a lifetime Yankees and Bills fan.… Continue reading Is this soon enough?
