I did my first couch to 5k session tonight. It starts with a 5 minute fast walk followed by alternating 1 minute jogs and 1.5 minute walks for a total of 20 minutes. I made it to over 2 miles, surviving getting attacked by a small dog. I thought running the streets would work, but cars and killer pint sized dogs are going to force me to the track. I kind of like the mindless bore of a track anyway. I can daydream without fear.
